Public Involvement Plan. The Engineer shall prepare a Public Involvement Plan (PIP) to support the project study. This plan shall identify the responsibilities of the Engineer, the State, and any other agency and public entity participation as well as determine a preliminary public involvement and stakeholder meeting schedule. The plan shall specify all activities to be performed and alternatives to be discussed during public involvement activities. Public involvement activities shall be carried out in compliance with Executive Order (EO) 13166 and EO 12898. The plan shall discuss outreach strategies for both the general public and targeted strategies for Environmental Justice and Limited English Proficiency populations. The PIP shall be included in the Project Management Plan (PMP).
Public Involvement Plan. The CONSULTANT is responsible for creating the PIP using existing work developed by the DEPARTMENT as a starting reference. The PIP must include a public involvement schedule and identify potentially affected stakeholders and communities in the vicinity of the project to establish the appropriate outreach methods. This includes consideration of the demographics of the Study Area and any reasonable accommodations including, but not limited to, disabled, transit- dependent, limited English proficient (LEP), elderly, low income, or minority. The CONSULTANT will review and attach the Sociocultural Data Report (SDR) to the PIP. A sample template for the PIP is located in Part 1, Chapter 11 of the PD&E Manual. The PIP should include public engagement strategies to gain and maintain project support. It is a living document that requires updating throughout the life of the project. At a minimum, the PIP must include the following: Project background Project goals Identification of elected officials and agencies Identification of affected communities and stakeholders Identification of media (e.g. television, radio, newspaper) for news and/or advertisement Proposed involvement activities Anticipated schedule of involvement activities Methodology for collecting and responding to public comments Discussion of public comments will be analyzed and incorporated, as appropriate As part of the Project's PIP the CONSULTANT will develop public involvement materials using the DEPARTMENT's approved template and submit the information to be uploaded to the DEPARTMENT's project website. The website will be created and maintained by the CONSULTANT and maintained by the DEPARTMENT. The website must meet FDOT requirements. The DEPARTMENT requires that the CONSULTANT create and submit a Project Plan that demonstrates how the creation and maintenance of the application will be carried out. The Project Plan template may be found at xxxx://xxx.xxx.xxxxx.xx.xx/ois/PDM/2_Planning/Project%20Plan_Template.docx No work may begin prior to the submission and approval of the Project Plan. After the Project Plan is approved, the CONSULTANT shall keep the Project Plan updated as necessary or upon notification by the DEPARTMENT of a deficiency in the Project Plan. Any change to the Project Plan must be approved by the DEPARTMENT.

The PIP is a living document that will be reviewed periodically for effectiveness. The purpose of the PIP is to:
a. Set goals and objectives for the US 69 public involvement and engagement.
b. Identify the people to be reached (i.e. elected officials, stakeholders, and the general public).
c. Establish an approach and strategies to achieve the goals and objectives of the PIP and characteristics of the targeted audiences.
d. Identify techniques to implement.
e. Include a developed plan, public involvement tools to be used, and activities for coordinating with elected officials, stakeholder groups, and the general public. Update to existing Public Involvement Plan provided by the State (up to two updates)

Involvement must be early, inclusive, continuous and tailored to address the identified needs within the project area including LEP needs. The public involvement plan should include an education component to explain to the public the concepts and purpose of environmental stewardship and project sustainability. Five copies of the public involvement plan would be submitted to the Mobility Authority, TxDOT Austin District and TxDOT ENV for review and approval.
Public Involvement Plan. Consultant shall develop and execute a Public Involvement Plan to cover the duration of the Project. The Public Involvement Plan must be developed in coordination with the City and at a minimum satisfy Title VI outreach requirements (e.g. Latino farm worker apartments). Consultant shall identify Title VI and Environmental Justice populations within Project Area for the purposes of identifying the City's transportation needs consistent with Oregon Administrative Rules (“OAR”) 660-012-0030 (1)(b) and avoiding undue adverse impacts when considering future projects. The Environmental Justice inventory must include maps identifying concentrations of sensitive populations in the Project Area and vehicle ownership by Census Block if available. The Public Involvement Plan must be an outline of agreed upon public involvement actions (e.g. posts on City’s Facebook page, farmers market booth) to achieve the outreach objectives, and must specify the PMT member responsible for executing the public involvement actions, and deadlines for the creation and review of the agreed upon communication tool(s). City will provide Spanish translation services as needed.
Public Involvement Plan. The Consultant and Client will work together to outline stakeholder involvement goals, communication ideas, and meetings needed. Based on this work, the Consultant will create a detailed approach and strategies for outreach as part of the scoping phase, and it will be outlined in the public involvement plan within the first month of the project. • Public involvement will include an online survey, and the Consultant will work with the Client to develop and distribute 10 to 15 questions focused on future opportunities for the study area, as well as analyze the results. • Throughout the project, the Client will be responsible for identifying stakeholders, securing meeting venues, meeting notifications and invitations. • During public meetings, the Consultant will be responsible for facilitation and providing comment cards, agendas, maps, stations, input exercises, and other associated meeting materials.

Public Involvement Plan. The Municipality of Anchorage has two employees who provide representative public interface between the MOA and the community. Xxxxx Xxxxxxx (000) 000-0000 of the Mayor’s Office provides the official voice of the Municipality on behalf of the Mayor of Anchorage, and has been provided with the EPA’s official notification and information for the initial Press Release. Xxxx Xxxxxxxx (000) 000-0000 of Project Management and Engineering (PM&E) will give RED the assistance it needs to provide project updates, meeting notices and other information to the public throughout the grant period. Xxxxxxxx and the PM&E office will also assist by supplying relevant documents for the Information Repository convenient to the site. Information Repositories for the site-specific Public Involvement Plans (PIP) will include: the main branch of the MOA’s library system, located at 0000 Xxxxxx Xxxxxx xx Xxxxxxxxx; the Real Estate Department’s public counter, located at 0000 Xxxxxx Xxxx; and electronically available online at xxx.xxxx.xxx. These repositories will contain fact sheets, PIP’s, progress reports, and other information relevant to this cleanup project.
Public Involvement Plan. SEH will develop a Public Involvement Plan (PIP) in collaboration with Airport and City staff. The PIP will identify project stakeholders, outreach methods and tools, and an anticipated schedule for outreach efforts. The PIP will be updated periodically as needed and is meant to be a living document.
