Common use of Public Monies Clause in Contracts

Public Monies. The Recipient acknowledges the policy objectives served by the City’s agreement to provide Funding hereunder, and that the Funding comes from public monies, and that the amount of damages sustained by the City in an Event of Default is difficult to ascertain and therefore, that it is fair and reasonable that the City be entitled to exercise any or all of the remedies, provided for in this Agreement and to do so in the manner provided for in this Agreement, if an Event of Default occurs.
