Public Purposes for Retroactive Approvals. The DALLAS ISD Board of Trustees identifies the following proper public educational purposes in retroactively supporting DALLAS ISD's prior expenditures in support of DEF not previously approved by the Dallas ISD Board of Trustees. 1. All expenditures incurred in furtherance of the DEF's purposes, which are designed to benefit DALLAS ISD and its educational mission and programs. 2. Failure to approve prior expenditures made in the name of DALLAS ISD could be harmful to DALLAS ISD's credit, reputation in the community, or ability to support the DEF in the future.
