Common use of Public Recognition Clause in Contracts

Public Recognition. (a) The Council must publicly and positively acknowledge: (1) the payment of the Monetary Contribution by the Company; and (2) the Company’s role in funding any Approved Local Projects via the Community Enhancement Fund. (b) The form of public acknowledgment required by clause 6.6(a) is to be agreed by the Council and the Company (acting reasonably) but must include: (1) The prominent inclusion of the Company’s logo in any advertisement for Funding Applications or an announcement made in relation to the Approved Local Projects and funding determinations; and (2) where appropriate for particular approved Local Projects, a permanent sign recognising that the Approved Local Project was funded by the Company via the Community Enhancement Fund.
