Common use of Publicity and Press Releases Clause in Contracts

Publicity and Press Releases. Except to the extent necessary under applicable laws, the parties agree that no press releases or other publicity relating to the substance of the matters contained herein will be made without joint approval. Notwithstanding the previous sentence, the parties agree that a press release announcing this Agreement will be jointly developed by the parties and released promptly after the Effective Date of this Agreement, and the parties recognize that Cygnus will need to file a copy of this Agreement, redacted to the extent permissible, with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. Both parties will consult with each other prior to issuing any xxxxxx xxxxx release relating to this Agreement.
