Common use of Purchase by Affiliates Clause in Contracts

Purchase by Affiliates. The Fund shall not permit or cause to be permitted the Investment Adviser, affiliated persons of the Investment Adviser (as defined in Section 2(a)(3) of the 0000 Xxx) (other than the Fund, in the case of a purchase of VRDP Shares which are to be cancelled within 10 days of purchase by the Fund), and Persons over which the Investment Adviser, or affiliated persons (as defined in Section 2(a)(3) of the 0000 Xxx) of the Investment Adviser, exercise discretionary investment or voting authority (other than the Fund, in the case of a purchase of VRDP Shares which are to be cancelled within 10 days of purchase by the Fund), to purchase VRDP Shares without the prior written consent of the Liquidity Provider, and any such purchases without such consent shall be void ab initio.
