Purchase of Notes for Cancellation. (a) Subject to the provisions of any Supplemental Indenture relating to a particular series of Notes or, in the case of the 2024 Notes, Article 3, the Issuer may, at any time and from time to time, purchase Notes of any series in the market (which shall include purchases from or through an investment dealer or a firm holding membership on a recognized stock exchange) or by tender or by contract, at any price; provided such acquisition does not otherwise violate the terms of this Indenture. All Notes so purchased may, at the option of the Issuer, be delivered to the Trustee and cancelled and no Notes shall be issued in substitution therefor.
