Purchases for Your Own Account. The Distributor shall not purchase shares of any Portfolio for its own account for purposes of resale to the public, but it may purchase shares for its own investment account upon its written assurance to the Fund that the purchase is for investment purposes only and that the shares will not be resold except through redemption by the Fund.
