Common use of Purpose and Interpretation Clause in Contracts

Purpose and Interpretation. 1.1 This Agreement and the Terms of Reference set out the arrangements that apply in relation to the exercise of the Joint Functions of the Joint Committee (“Joint Committee”) of the CCGs that are signatories to it. 1.2 If there is any conflict between the provisions of the Agreement and the provisions of the Terms of Reference, the provisions of the Terms of Reference will prevail. 1.3 This Agreement is to be interpreted in accordance with Schedule 1 (Definitions and Interpretation).
