Purpose of the Bristol Ageing Better Partnership Bristol. Ageing Better is a Partnership Programme funded by the Big Lottery Fund which aims to deliver: 1.3.1. an increase in the number of older people who report that they have the amount and type of social contact that they want to reduce isolation and loneliness 1.3.2. a greater number of older people respondents who say that they can influence decisions that affect their local area and how services are designed and delivered. 1.3.3. More older people are able to contribute to their community through such mechanisms as volunteering, belonging to a forum, steering group or other activity. 1.3.4. Evaluation and learning from BAB projects/initiatives will help to build an evidence base to ensure that future services in Bristol are better
