Purposes of the Agency. The purposes of the Agency are to: a. Provide for the joint exercise of powers common to each of the Members and powers granted pursuant to SGMA (subject to the restrictions contained in this Agreement); b. Cooperatively carry out the purposes of SGMA; c. Become a GSA for purposes of management of the Subbasin in accordance with SGMA; and d. Develop, adopt and implement a legally sufficient GSP for the Subbasin, subject to the limitations set forth in this Agreement.
