Qualifications to Administer Alcohol Testing. Employee Alcohol Testing is to be conducted by a trained Breath Alcohol Technician (BAT). The BAT shall utilize an Evidential Breath Testing device (EBT) from the federally-approved certified provider list. BATs shall be employed by the Board or shall be under contract with the Board. Direct Supervisory Employees of the Board shall not be permitted to administer a breath test to an employee he/she supervises.
