Qualified Applicant. ‌ When there are current, qualified bargaining unit members interested in the vacancy, the Employer shall give good faith consideration to the applicant. Employees shall be selected, appointed, and promoted on the basis of qualifications, ability and demonstrated performance.

Qualified Applicant. A qualified applicant means one who possesses the experience, knowledge, education, skills and abilities required for the position

Qualified Applicant. The successful applicant on a job vacancy shall be considered to be on a trial period for up to thirty (30) working days. During this trial period, the employee must demonstrate that he can satisfy the requirements of the work performance criteria for the job to the satisfaction of the Employer.
