Qualifying For Regularization. A staff employee who is hired on a Type C contract shall be given a regularized Type A contract after two years of subsequent services provided the following criteria have been met: (i) The employee has successfully competed for a posted vacancy through the SAC process. (ii) The employee has received satisfactory evaluations prior to regularization – (an employee will be deemed to have received a satisfactory evaluation if one has not been undertaken by the employer). (iii) The employee has worked at least two consecutive appointment years at a workload of fifty (50%) percent or greater for each of two (2) consecutive appointment years (iv) There is a reasonable expectation of ongoing employment for which the employee is qualified at a rate of fifty (50%) percent or greater.
