Common use of Quotation for Services Clause in Contracts

Quotation for Services. (a) A quote or proposal provided by Powernet to the Client does not constitute a legally binding offer to provide the Services and an acceptance of that quote or proposal will not bind Powernet unless Powernet subsequently agrees in writing to provide those Services in accordance with the accepted quote or proposal. (b) Powernet may provide an informal proposal or quote to the Client after the commencement of the Client Agreement, in respect of additional Services requested by the Client or recommended by Powernet, and upon the written acceptance of that proposal or quotation the Client Agreement shall be deemed varied in accordance with the terms of that proposal or quote and the provisions of clause 6.2 shall apply subject to the express terms of that accepted proposal or quote.
