Rate Updates and Soft-Guard® Program. Your Meter or Equipment may require periodic rate updates that you will obtain under our Soft-Guard program. We will provide rate updates only if required due to a postal or carrier change in rate, service, ZIP Code™ or zone change. The Soft-Guard program doesn’t cover any change in rates due to custom rate changes, new classes of carrier service, or a change in ZIP Code or zone due to equipment relocation. If you have received the maximum number of rate updates under the Soft-Guard program, you will be billed separately for any additional rate update we provide. We won’t be responsible for any losses arising out of or resulting from the failure of rating or software downloads to conform to published rates.
