RATES AND ALLOWANCES FOR FLAT EXTRA RATINGS. Substandard risks issued with flat extra ratings will be coinsured. We will pay you the appropriate portion of the flat extra premium charged the insured less an allowance that is determined by the duration of the flat extra premium. Allowances for flat extra premiums payable for more than five years will be the same as those for the basic death benefit.
