Common use of RATES & PAYMENTS Clause in Contracts

RATES & PAYMENTS. (a) CARRIER will invoice and BROKER will pay the rates and charges set forth in Appendix A (“Carrier Rates and Charges”) together with any “Special Freight Rate(s)” set forth in a signed “Special Provisions Agreement” being in the form appended hereto as Appendix B (which shall be incorporated into and form part of this Agreement) for transportation services performed under this Agreement. In the event of any inconsistency between Appendixes A and a signed Special Provisions Agreement the latter will govern to the extent of any inconsistency.
