RATIFICATION OF INDENTURE; SUPPLEMENTAL INDENTURE CONTROLS; SCOPE OF SUPPLEMENTAL INDENTURE. (a) The Indenture, as supplemented by this Supplemental Indenture, is in all respects ratified and confirmed, and this Supplemental Indenture shall be deemed part of the Indenture in the manner and to the extent herein and therein provided. The provisions of this Supplemental Indenture shall, subject to Section 9.1 hereof, supersede the provisions of the Indenture to the extent the Indenture is inconsistent herewith. (b) The changes, modifications and supplements to the Indenture effected by this Supplemental Indenture shall be applicable only with respect to, and govern the terms of, the 1997A Notes, and shall not apply to any other Securities which may be issued under the Indenture unless a supplemental indenture with respect to such other Securities specifically incorporates such changes, modifications and supplements.
