Common use of Re-negotiation or Modification Clause in Contracts

Re-negotiation or Modification. 1. Modification of provisions of this Contract shall only be valid when they have been reduced to writing and duly signed by both parties. The Rate of Payment and the total dollar amount may be adjusted to reflect price level increases and changes in the Rate of Payment when these have been established through the appropriations process subsequently identified in DOE/DVR’s budgets.
