Re-presented Drafts Sample Clauses
The 'Re-presented Drafts' clause governs the process by which previously dishonored or unpaid drafts (such as checks or bills of exchange) may be submitted again for payment. Typically, this clause outlines the conditions under which a draft can be re-presented, such as after a specified period or following the correction of a reason for initial dishonor, and may set limits on the number of times re-presentation is allowed. Its core function is to provide a clear framework for handling payment instruments that were not honored on first presentation, thereby reducing uncertainty and facilitating smoother financial transactions.
