Common use of Real Estate Brokers Representing the Parties Clause in Contracts

Real Estate Brokers Representing the Parties. Each party represents to the other party that it has not dealt with any broker, consultant, finder, financial adviser or similar person in connection with this Agreement and transaction. Each party shall defend, indemnify and hold the other party harmless from and against any and all claims, demands, causes of action, costs, expenses or other liabilities (including attorneys' fees, costs and disbursements) arising from or pertaining to any brokerage commission, finder's fees or other compensation of similar nature which may be due or claimed by any broker, consultant, finder, financial adviser or similar person claiming to have dealt with such party in connection with this Agreement or this transaction. This Section 14 shall survive the Closing or earlier termination of this Agreement.
