Common use of Real Property Grant Deed Clause in Contracts

Real Property Grant Deed. This Assignment constitutes a grant deed to all real property owned by Assignor (except for real property leases and leasehold interests which are expressly excepted from the Assignment Estate as provided in Section 1.1 above), whether or not the Assignor’s real property is specifically described in this Assignment. Assignor hereby appoints Assignee as its attorney-in-fact for any and all matters concerning real property it owns and operates, including, but not limited to, marketing, sale, transfer or other disposition of its real property. Upon disposition of the real property, net proceeds, if any, shall immediately vest in the assignment estate as if it was personal property.
