Common use of Receipt - Where Clause in Contracts

Receipt - Where. a Notice is delivered personally or by facsimile, it shall be deemed to have been received the same Business Day, or if the day on which the Notice was sent is not a Business Day, the Notice shall be deemed to have been received on the next Business Day. Where a Notice is sent by registered mail, it shall be deemed to have been received three (3) Business Days after the date of mailing. In no event shall any Notice be sent by mail during any period of interrupted or threatened interruption of postal service. Service of a Notice by electronic mail shall not be permitted.
