Common use of Receiver’s Powers Clause in Contracts

Receiver’s Powers. The Receiver may exercise any or all of the following powers, unless they are specifically excluded by the terms of the Receiver’s appointment: (a) take possession of, collect, get in, and give up possession of, the Secured Property and give valid receipts for it; and (b) do anything the law allows an owner or a Receiver of property constituting the Secured Property to do as if you were a company incorporated under the Companies Act, even if you are not.
