Receiving Inspections Clause Samples
The Receiving Inspections clause establishes the procedures and standards for inspecting goods or materials upon their delivery to the buyer. Typically, it allows the buyer a specified period to examine shipments for defects, damage, or nonconformity with contract specifications, and to notify the seller of any issues found. This clause ensures that the buyer has an opportunity to verify that the delivered items meet agreed-upon quality and quantity requirements, thereby protecting the buyer from being obligated to accept and pay for substandard or incorrect goods.
