RECOGNITION AND DESCRIPTION Sample Clauses

The 'Recognition and Description' clause serves to formally acknowledge and define specific items, rights, or obligations within an agreement. Typically, this clause outlines the particular assets, services, or responsibilities being referenced, ensuring that all parties have a clear and mutual understanding of what is being recognized or described. For example, it may specify the characteristics of intellectual property, the scope of deliverables, or the nature of a party's role. Its core practical function is to eliminate ambiguity by providing precise identification and description, thereby reducing the risk of misunderstandings or disputes regarding what is covered by the contract.
