Common use of Records for Audit Purposes Clause in Contracts

Records for Audit Purposes. Without limitation to any other provision of the foregoing Agreement/Contract the Contractor shall maintain all records concerning the program or project financed under this Agreement which the City reasonably requires from the date of submission of the final expenditure report or, for Federal awards that are renewed quarterly or annually, from the date of the submission of the quarterly or annual financial report, respectively, as reported to the Federal awarding agency or pass-through entity in the case of a subrecipient pursuant to 2 CFR §200.333. The Contractor shall maintain records required by 24 CFR §135.92 for the period required under 2 CFR §200.333. The Contractor will give the City, HUD, the Comptroller General of United States, the General Accounting Office, or any of their authorized representatives access to and the right to examine, copy, or reproduce all records pertaining to the acquisition and construction of the project and the operation of the program or project. The right to access shall continue as long as the records are required to be maintained under 2 CFR §200.336.
