Redeployment Assistance Clause Samples
The Redeployment Assistance clause outlines the employer's obligation to support employees in finding alternative positions within the organization if their current roles are eliminated or significantly changed. Typically, this involves providing resources such as job search support, access to internal job postings, or retraining opportunities to help affected employees transition to new roles. The core function of this clause is to mitigate the impact of job loss by facilitating continued employment, thereby offering security to employees and helping the organization retain valuable talent.
Redeployment Assistance. 18.37 (a) Redeployment assistance may be made available to employees in the redeployment pool. When an employee so requests, Human Resources will assist an employee who has been placed for redeployment pursuant to Article 18.29 to identify appropriate opportunities to facilitate the employee’s transition into the position. “Appropriate opportunities” means practical familiarization and/or technical training available through Information Technology Services and/or Human Resources in the Employee Development Centre.
Redeployment Assistance. The Company will provide redeployment assistance to Employees whose positions have become redundant and who are seeking alternative employment by:
(a) providing assistance with resumé preparation;
(b) the referral of an Employee’s resumé to other associated companies, where appropriate;
(c) the provision of up to eight (8) hours special paid leave to attend job interviews which fall during normal working hours during a period of notice that is worked. The eight (8) hours need not be consecutive however, an Employee must provide proof of attendance at the job interview in order to claim the entitlement;
(d) providing free independent financial planning advice in Kalgoorlie; and
(e) providing free independent re-adjustment counselling in Kalgoorlie.
