Reduction in Consideration. Any payments made by the Vendor to the Purchaser in respect of Claims shall, to the extent lawfully possible, be treated by the parties as a reduction in the Consideration; provided, however, that this Clause 5.5 (Reduction in Consideration ) shall not in any way limit or restrict the amount recoverable by the Purchaser or any other person under this agreement to the amount of the Consideration or any other amount (but this is without prejudice to the limitations set out in Clause 6 (Remedies of the Purchaser ).
