Common use of References to Agreement and Laws Clause in Contracts

References to Agreement and Laws. Unless otherwise expressly provided herein, (a) any definition or reference to formation documents, governing documents, agreements (including the Credit Documents) and other contractual documents or instruments shall be deemed to include all subsequent amendments, restatements, extensions, supplements and other modifications thereto, but only to the extent that such amendments, restatements, extensions, supplements and other modifications are not prohibited by any Credit Document; and (b) any definition or reference to any applicable Laws, including, without limitation, Anti-Corruption Laws, Anti-Money Laundering Laws, the Code, ERISA, the Exchange Act, the PATRIOT Act, the Securities Act, shall include all statutory and regulatory provisions consolidating, amending, replacing, supplementing or interpreting such applicable Laws and any reference to any applicable Laws shall, unless otherwise specified, refer to such applicable Law as amended, modified or supplemented from time to time.
