Common use of References to Agreements, Laws and Persons Clause in Contracts

References to Agreements, Laws and Persons. Unless otherwise expressly provided herein, (a) references to Organizational Documents, agreements (including the Loan Documents) and other contractual instruments shall be deemed to include all subsequent amendments, restatements, extensions, supplements and other modifications thereto, but only to the extent that such amendments, restatements, extensions, supplements and other modifications are not prohibited by any Loan Document; and (b) references to any Law shall include all statutory and regulatory provisions consolidating, amending, replacing, supplementing or interpreting such Law. A reference to any Person includes the successors and assigns of such Person, but such reference shall not increase, decrease or otherwise modify in any way the provisions of this Agreement governing the assignment of rights and obligations under or the binding effect of any such provision of this Agreement or any other Loan Document.
