Common use of Referral of Claims to Arbitration Clause in Contracts

Referral of Claims to Arbitration. Subject to Section 10.1, one or more Parties may refer a Claim to arbitration (the "Claimant Party") by providing notice (an "Arbitration Notice") to each other Party or Parties against which the Claim is asserted (whether one or more parties, the "Respondent Party") in the manner set forth in the Arbitration Rules. The Arbitration Notice must include a general description of the Claim and shall identify all Respondent Parties and the reasons for asserting the Claim against each Respondent Party. The Arbitration is commenced between the Claimant Party and the Respondent Party ("Dispute Parties") by sending the Arbitration Notice to the Respondent Party.
