REFERRAL PROCESS ASSISTANCE. 6.1.1. The Contractor shall ensure that all PCMPs with which it contracts are aware of and comply with the Department’s referral requirements. These requirements include referring the PCMP’s Members to specialty care, as appropriate, and ensuring that clinical referrals are completed between PCMPs and specialists/referred providers to facilitate optimal health care, care coordination, and information sharing.
