Common use of Refund Upon Termination Clause in Contracts

Refund Upon Termination. If you terminate this Agreement in accordance with Subsection 13(b) (“Termination”), we will refund you any prepaid fees covering the remainder of your Update Period or Subscription Period (as applicable) on a pro rata basis calculated from the effective termination date. If this Agreement is terminated by us in accordance with the same Subsection 13(b), or if you elect to terminate your subscription for any other reason or no reason, you will not be entitled to a refund of any pre-paid fees.

If you terminate this Agreement is terminated by You in accordance with Subsection 13(bSection 15(b) (“Termination”), we will refund you You any prepaid fees covering the remainder of your Update Period or Subscription Period (as applicable) on a pro rata basis calculated from Your subscription term after the effective termination datedate of termination. If this Agreement is terminated by us in accordance with the same Subsection 13(bSection 15(b), or if you elect to terminate fees already paid in respect of your current subscription for any other reason or no reason, you term will not be entitled to a refund of any pre-paid feesrefundable.
