Regional Official Plan and Amendments. 5.5.1. The Region leads and adopts policy based amendments to the Regional Official Plan. 5.5.2. Prior to initiating policy based amendments to the Regional Official Plan amendments, the Region will share information on the initiative and seek input from the parties. 5.5.3. The Local Municipalities and Conservation Authorities will review and provide comments on policy-based amendments to the Regional Official Plan as it relates to their interests and mandates.
