REGIONAL WATER Clause Samples
The REGIONAL WATER clause establishes the rights and responsibilities of parties regarding the use, access, or management of water resources within a specific geographic region. Typically, this clause outlines how water will be sourced, allocated, or shared among parties, and may set standards for water quality, usage limits, or compliance with local regulations. Its core practical function is to ensure that all parties have a clear understanding of their obligations and entitlements concerning regional water resources, thereby preventing disputes and promoting sustainable water management.
REGIONAL WATER. SUPPLY The State may in its discretion develop any district or regional water supply and for the purposes thereof construct water works to a greater capacity than that required to supply the Joint Venturers’ inland water requirements but in that event the cost of the water works so constructed shall be shared by the parties in such manner as they mutually agree to be fair in all the circumstances.
