REGULAR DAY SHIFT HOURS. The regular starting time of the day shift shall be 8:00 A.M. except that where as to any locality or as to any plant of any Employer, existing traffic conditions render it desirable to start the day shift at an earlier hour, such starting time may by agreement between the Employer and the Union be made earlier, but in no event earlier than 6:30 A.M. Such shift shall consist of seven (7) hours provided that the employee shall be permitted thirty (30) minutes for meals. Pay for a full shift period shall be a sum equivalent to seven (7) times the regular hourly rate with no premium.
