Common use of Reimbursement-Personal Property Clause in Contracts

Reimbursement-Personal Property. The School Board shall reimburse employees for any loss, damage or destruction of personal property of the employee while in the proper performance of duties as employees, subject to the following limits. Reimbursement for damage to personal property is capped at $500 for auto damage and $250 for other property damage with an aggregate cap of $5,000 for auto damage and $2,500 for other property damage. Any reimbursement made under this provision is a gratuitous payment and does not indicate that the District has accepted liability for the incident.
