Relation to Third Parties Clause Samples
The 'Relation to Third Parties' clause defines how the agreement affects, or does not affect, individuals or entities who are not direct parties to the contract. Typically, this clause clarifies that the rights and obligations established in the contract are limited to the signatories and do not extend to third parties, such as subcontractors, affiliates, or unrelated businesses. Its core function is to prevent unintended legal claims or benefits for outsiders, ensuring that only the parties to the agreement can enforce or be bound by its terms.
