Relationship with Collateral Agent Sample Clauses
The 'Relationship with Collateral Agent' clause defines the legal and operational connection between the parties to an agreement and the collateral agent appointed to manage secured assets. It typically outlines the collateral agent's authority to act on behalf of all secured parties, including holding, enforcing, or releasing collateral, and clarifies the agent's duties and limitations. This clause ensures that there is a single point of contact for managing collateral, streamlining enforcement actions and reducing the risk of conflicting instructions from multiple secured parties.
