Common use of Release of Property Owner Clause in Contracts

Release of Property Owner. In the event of consent by Town to the sale or other conveyance of all or a portion of the Real Property and compliance with the conditions set forth therein, the Property Owner shall be released from any further obligations with respect to this Agreement as to the portion of the Real Property so transferred, and the transferee shall be substituted as the Property Owner under the Agreement as to the portion of the Real Property so transferred.
