Release or License Clause Samples

A Release or License clause serves to grant permission for the use of certain rights or to discharge a party from specific claims or liabilities. In practice, this clause may allow one party to use intellectual property, confidential information, or other protected materials, or it may release a party from future legal claims related to a particular matter. Its core function is to clearly define the scope of rights granted or liabilities waived, thereby reducing the risk of future disputes and ensuring both parties understand their respective freedoms and obligations.
