Release Time and Guild Access. 4.2.1 The Guild’s officers and attorneys shall have reasonable access to the Sheriff’s Office during working hours, providing they do not interfere with or cause employees to neglect their work. 4.2.2 The Employer shall afford Guild officers a reasonable amount of time, while on duty, to consult with appropriate management officials concerning grievances, Xxxxxxxxxx representation, and other contract administration matters. 4.2.3 The Employer shall afford Guild officers a reasonable amount of time, while on duty, to consult with aggrieved employees, provided that the Guild officers or the aggrieved employee contacts the appropriate command level officer (or immediate supervisor, if not on duty) requesting the necessary time. Such requests shall be approved, provided the meeting can be conducted without unreasonably interfering with Sheriff’s Office operations. On-duty consultations with aggrieved employees of more than fifteen (15) minutes shall be approved by the Sheriff or his/her designee.
