Common use of REMEDIES OF THE STATE Clause in Contracts

REMEDIES OF THE STATE. The State of Wisconsin shall be free to invoke any and all remedies permitted under Wisconsin law. In particular, if the Contractor fails to perform as specified in this Contract, the State of Wisconsin may issue a written notice of default providing for at least a seven (7) Business Day period in which the Contractor shall have an opportunity to cure, provided that cure is possible, feasible, and approved in writing by the State of Wisconsin. Time allowed for cure of a default shall not diminish or eliminate the Contractor’s liability. If the default remains, after opportunity to cure, then the State of Wisconsin may: (1) exercise any remedy provided in law or in equity or (2) terminate
