Remote Inspections Clause Samples

Remote Inspections. The Official Agency may by mutual agreement with the Authority allocate inspectors to carry out official controls and other official activities in particular establishments remotely, and as per legislative requirements and the Official Agency’s documented procedures, at a frequency based on risk in line with the requirements in Article 9 of Regulation (EU) 2017/625.
Remote Inspections. In each case that the Inspector of Record or any specialty or other inspector must travel outside of the State or more than 150 miles from the Project Site in order to perform inspection services required in connection with the Project, and except as the District, in its sole discretion, may agree otherwise in a Change Order: (i) the District shall be responsible for, and the costs assessed as part of the GMP may include, only such amount(s) as attributable to the inspector’s normal work day of eight hours based on services performed at the Project Site; and (ii) the Contractor shall be solely responsible for any and all cost of travel, housing, food, and any out-of-area premiums attributable to the inspection services as are in excess of the amount described in the foregoing clause (i). The Contractor must make arrangements for each such remote inspection sufficiently enough in advance as will preclude any delays in completion of the Work.
