Common use of Renewal and Extension Clause in Contracts

Renewal and Extension. If the Contract was procured by an exceptional purchase pursuant to subsections 287.057(3)(a) or (3)(c), F.S., it may not be renewed. If the Contract was competitively procured, the price of the renewal must be included in the response to the Invitation to Bid (ITB), Request for Proposal (RFP), or Invitation to Negotiate (ITN) and the renewal price for the Contract shall not exceed that as set forth in the response to the ITB, RFP, or ITN.
