Common use of Rent Defined Clause in Contracts

Rent Defined. All monetary obligations of Tenant to Landlord under the terms of this Lease, including without limitation, Base Rent, Parking Rent, and Operating Expenses, and all taxes, costs, expenses and other amounts that Tenant is required to pay pursuant to this Lease to any other party, together with every fine, penalty, interest and costs which may be added for late payment thereof (except for the Security Deposit), are deemed to be rent (“Rent”).
