Common use of Repayment of Other Amounts due MDHHS Clause in Contracts

Repayment of Other Amounts due MDHHS. By entering into this Contract, the Contractor agrees to honor all prior repayment agreements established by MDHHS with the Contractor or Contractor’s predecessors. In the absence of a repayment agreement for amounts due MDHHS, the Contractor agrees to make monthly payments to MDHHS at an amount not less than 5% of any outstanding balance and to begin on the date this Contract is executed. If any of these required payments are made more than 30 days past the due date, MDHHS may reduce or withhold future payments made under this or any other contract(s) between MDHHS and the Contractor. The payment reduction will be made at the amount originally established in the repayment agreement or at an amount not less than 5% of any outstanding balance effective on the date this Contract is executed.
