Common use of Reporting to Government Agencies Clause in Contracts

Reporting to Government Agencies. Nothing in this Agreement shall prevent Employee from filing a charge or complaint or making a disclosure or report of possible unlawful activity, including a challenge to the validity of this Agreement, with any governmental agency, including but not limited to the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (“EEOC”), the National Labor Relations Board (“NLRB”), or the SEC, or from participating in any investigation or proceeding conducted by the EEOC, NLRB, SEC, or any federal, state or local agency. This Agreement does not impose any condition precedent (such as prior disclosure to the Company), any penalty, or any other restriction or limitation adversely affecting Employee’s rights regarding any governmental agency disclosure, report, claim or investigation. Employee understands and recognizes, however, that even if a report or disclosure is made or a charge is filed by him/her or on his/her behalf with a governmental agency other than the SEC, Employee will not be entitled to any damages or payment of any money or other relief personal to him/her relating to any event which occurred prior to his/her execution of this Agreement.
